Support Systems……

Life…..I haven’t done it alone, because my family has always been there for me.  They’ve helped me along the way in so many ways, and yes they’ve always been there to push  me.  I have a great support system, both friends and family.  I’m sure that everyone has someone who believes in them.  Having a contributor is great, but that’s not enough.  I’ve learned that I can accept help, but I also know that I shouldn’t just accept everything that comes my way, but that I should push forward and build on the blessings.  It shouldn’t be considered a handout, maybe these blessings should be considered a “hand-up”!!!  When others see the fire in your eyes and they know that you are trying to better yourself, they’re more apt to want to help you to succeed.  No one wants to invest in a vacuum that keeps sucking them in without getting something in return…….People want results.  And get this, sometimes your success is payment enough.  Most people, I don’t care how shallow or greedy they may seem, seeing someone making progress and achieving their dreams is always a positive.  Fam, accept help.  It may not be monetary; it may be a kind word or the encouragement to do better.  It could come from a family member, or it could come from a complete stranger.  Fam, believe in yourself and others will believe in you.  Build your support system.  Surround yourself with positivity.  Hang around the right people, read the right materials, listen to words of encouragement and light…..enlighten yourself!  Usually when you place yourself in the right places and positions, you can set up your own ladders for success.  Just put yourself on the right path, and the blessings, support and success will rise up to greet you!
